# Install and get started

Download LDManager and start using it

Updated: 2026-10-19

## Download and extract

Open your [LDManager profile](https://ldmanager.cc/profile.html#downloads) and download the Windows x64 ZIP. Extract the entire archive into its own folder. Keep LDManager.exe together with its DLLs and directories. No Python installation is required.

A SHA-256 checksum is published beside the download link. The build does not yet have a Windows Authenticode publisher certificate; its internal manifest signature is a separate check. If a security warning is unexpected, verify the source and contact support.

## Sign in and add accounts

Sign in to LDManager through @ldmanagersteam_bot on Telegram. Your subscription belongs to your LDManager identity. Internet access is required for sign-in and Pro validation.

Add your own Steam accounts and connect your own authenticators. Steam Guard codes are generated locally. Never send maFiles, Steam passwords or authenticator secrets to support chat.

## Local data

The public build stores local data in %LOCALAPPDATA%/LDManager. The download contains no developer accounts, maFiles or user sessions.

Start with Free. Read the security guide and keep a protected backup of your own authenticator data before importing important accounts.

## Verify your download

Release 1.0.0: 19 October 2026; ZIP size 54,362,180 bytes (51.84 MiB). In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 for the downloaded archive and compare it with the [published checksum](https://ldmanager.cc/downloads/LDManager-1.0.0-windows-x64.zip.sha256). If they differ, download again and contact support.

## Before moving an authenticator

Close LDManager before backing up. Keep a protected copy of %LOCALAPPDATA%/LDManager and your original authenticator files separately from your computer. Local Steam files are not encrypted: use encrypted storage for backups.

Keep the original authenticator and recovery information until you have verified sign-in and working codes. Never share recovery codes. Steam transfer and trading restrictions may apply independently of LDManager.

## Troubleshooting

Check [service status](https://ldmanager.cc/en/status/). Telegram sign-in and Pro validation require internet access. When contacting @LDManager_Support, include the version, action and error text; never send Steam passwords, maFiles or secrets.
